Abstract |
One of the many problems of the fight against corruption is that this fight is often not systematic. The lack of consistency, in particular, is manifested in the fact that private methods of investigating corruption crimes do not cover recommendations aimed at preventing new cases of similar crimes. Because of this, the fight against corruption loses its expected effectiveness. This is especially evident in cases of corruption investigations that take place among employees of the State Road Safety Inspectorate. The information that is obtained during the investigation of these crimes is also quite suitable for the prevention of crimes, and therefore it is possible to simultaneously carry out measures to prevent new, similar corruption crimes. In this regard, the forensic methodology for investigating corruption crimes of traffic police officers should include not only recommendations for effective disclosure and investigation of these crimes, but also recommendations for preventing the commission of new similar crimes. That is, the currently available forensic characteristics should be improved by including provisions in it, the implementation of which would contribute to the effective prevention of corruption crimes. Moreover, such an approach can not only improve the quality of prevention of corruption crimes, but also improve the quality of the investigation conducted for each specific crime of this type. At the same time, when improving this forensic methodology, attention should be paid to the peculiarities of those relations that are the implementation of the powers of traffic police officers, against the background of which the corresponding corruption crimes are committed. The proposed article is devoted to this and some other problems. |
